Oh god...not another one. Every time they do this, it fails. Oh well, GvG ladder will be filled with gimmicks this weekend :|

At least they saved the REALLY bad weekends for when I'm moving house and have no broadband. Nice timing ANet.

this is 3rd double champ point weekend anet has made, the first was ok because of the larger number of guilds in champ point range with old rating system.....with this current rating system there are approx 80 guilds currently in champ point range (a lot of whom currently inactive i might add)

its only making the elite champ point people more f***ing elite, its hard enough for people to get champ points with the current rating ladder and so few top guilds competing....

so....good f***ing game areanet making a weekend not "anyone" is able to participate in

all other weekends may be useless to most , BUT they have a chance to compete in it and be able to get full use of the weekend eg. double glad...sure not everyone pvp's....but at least they can all try for it

as it stands, f*** all people will gain full advantage of this weekend

its a useless weekend for most people

double champ....good f***ing luck being a nobody and getting into champ point guild for a champ point match

double champ point weekends promote gimmick builds from ALL guilds way to ruin the guild ladder and make it harder for the smaller guys anet

(and this is coming from someone who has a champ title myself, so i know how hard it is to get the title)

They have it this weekend because of the monthly tournament. Champ titles have always been elite, and yes I know this weekend doesn't affect PvE'rs. But realistically, triple dye drops don't affect PvP'rs either, so it's only fair.

Loving this weekend after our guild managed to hit 1200 rating the other day we can finally get champ points again. Hopefully I can get my rank 3 this weekend if enough of the other 1200 guilds are playing.

Also why do people moan about this weekend just because not everyone can get champ points. Weekend events dont need to always be for pve or everyone.

even though dye drop may not affect people who only pvp....BUT my point being they have a chance to participate if they choose too, this weekend limits who can and cannot participate. Idea of the weekened events i thought was to get as many people online to play the game.....this weekend fails at drawing as many people to the game because it is limited to a select few.

Well it draws in people in and around 1200 rating to play gvg as getting a random rated match at high rank is a very long wait usually.
